What is THE PHACEOFF? |

The PhilmLand Phaceoff was created in the middle of the COVID-19 shutdown, where the PhilmLand 24 Showcase had to be put on hold. PhilmLand wanted to provide something competitive in a tournament fashion but with a bit of 8-Mile inspired freestyle back and forth battling.
The Phaceoff features eight highly talented players from around the world. They compete in a bracket-style tournament over several days on IG Live with judges keeping score. More emphasis is placed on the movement and creativity in ground ball work rather than juggling. Players have 30 seconds to dribble in a space of their home to an instrumental beat and wow the judges. Best skill wins. |

The next PHACEOFF LIVE event kicks off August 28, 2020. The tagline for this event is "It's Time to Phace the Phacts", and this version has been designed to showcase and empower black athletes.
Thank you to our judges: D.C. United defender Donovan Pines, Sky Blue FC defender Imani Dorsey and ESPN reporter Sebi Salazar. There will also be Crowd Choice awards handed out for each match-up, with soccer reporters Jenny Chiu and Claudia Pagan helping determine those winners who will receive an official champions’ league ball from Adidas.
